THE ONLY SURVIVOR SUCCESSFULLY LOCATED BY RESCUE RADAR RRII IN SHENZHEN LANDSLIDE

A landslide hit an industrial park in the southern city of Shenzhen on Sunday and more than 70 people went missing. Thousands of rescuers, aided by dogs, detectors and excavators, spent over 60 hours searching for signs of life in the 380,000-square-meters of debris.

Rescuers were unable to locate any survivor until they found Tian Zeming in the rubble using our Rescue Radar RRII.

China Central Television (CCTV) made a documentary film for this incident. We are so proud of our Rescue Radar which proved to be helpful and was highlighted in the film. We also took this opportunity to donate a RESQ17 wide angle camera search system in order to support the rescue team so that they could save more life.

Rescuers searched for remaining survivors by using the Rescue Radar unit on the mud surface, until they successfully located the victim Mr. Tian, trapped under collapsed structures of 8 meters in depth.

Rescue Radar RRII is a search and rescue detector used to locate buried victims in minutes. Compared with traditional rescue equipment, Recue Radar RRII has a higher accuracy rate, stability and is more reliable, which allows first responders to locate body movements – even movements associated with breathing in earthquake, debris flow, landslide and collapsing buildings.

We are honored that our RRII was used in the rescue effort and successfully rescued one life under 67 hours after the landslide occurred, which indubitably proved its excellent performance.
